CBC Chair Dem Rep Richmond: There’s ‘Mounting Evidence’ That Trump Isn’t a Legitimate President

Reacting to Rep. John Lewis (D-GA) saying Donald Trump is not a legitimate president, Congressional Black Caucus Chair Rep. Cedric Richmond (D-LA) suggested Saturday on MSNBC’s “AM Joy” that there may be “mounting evidence” that the president-elect is indeed not a legitimate president.

“John’s assessment is John’s assessment, and I think that there are many facts that could lead towards his conclusion,” Richmond said. “I have not formed an ultimate conclusion. I would just reiterate that even if he is a legitimate president, he doesn’t know it and he doesn’t act presidential, but there’s a mounting of evidence that suggests otherwise.”
