Krauthammer: ‘Who Would You Rather Have As the Frontrunner for the Dems Than Elizabeth Warren?’

On Wednesday’s broadcast of “The First 100 Days,” columnist Charles Krauthammer stated, “Who would you rather have as the frontrunner for the Democrats than [Senator] Elizabeth Warren (D-MA)? If you can give her a gratuitous boost, why not?”

Krauthammer said that the Senate Democrats’ campaign against Attorney General Jeff Sessions was “kabuki theater.” That was designed to “placate” the “anxiety and the depression” of their base.

He added that the controversy over Warren being barred from debate while trying to read a letter from Coretta Scott King benefited everybody by giving Warren lots of attention, and helped Republicans because “Who would you rather have as the frontrunner for the Democrats than Elizabeth Warren? If you can give her a gratuitous boost, why not? If the Democrats run a left-wing Democrat, they’re more likely to lose than if they run a centrist.”

Krauthammer also reacted to Hillary Clinton’s tweet in favor of Warren by saying that being endorsed by “the most shocking loser, except for the Atlanta Falcons, in our lifetime,” wasn’t a good start for Warren.
