Howard Dean: Intel Community Took Trump’s ‘Measure’ When He Went After Them

While discussing National Security Adviser Michael Flynn’s resignation on Tuesday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “For the Record,” former Vermont Governor Howard Dean (D) argued that “when Trump went after the intelligence community, they took his measure, and you’re going see stuff come out again and again and again, and it’s not going to get easier.”

Dean said that he thinks the Flynn flap is “the tip of the iceberg. I think the president cut his losses, but there’s a lot more losses to come. What this guy was doing, apparently, was pretty serious, and was going to be — I think that it’s going to be almost impossible for Congress not to investigate this.”

He added, “I think that when Trump went after the intelligence community, they took his measure, and you’re going see stuff come out again and again and again, and it’s not going to get easier.”
