Sunday, Rep. Peter King (R-NY) said on New York AM 970’s “The Cats Roundtable” that while he approves of most of what President Donald Trump has done so far, the president should “slow down on some of the tweets” and stop making “unforced errors.”

“[W]hat [Trump] has to do is stop making these unforced errors,” King told host John Catsimatidis. “I agree with 90 percent of what he’s doing, but then just maybe slow down on some of the tweets or whatever and just focus on getting the job done.”

He continued, “The American people agree with what he wants to do. They want stronger anti-terrorism measures, they want to have more secure borders, they want lower taxes, they want to rebuild the infrastructure. These are all of the things Americans want.”
