Cotton on Russia Probe: ‘We’re Going to Follow the Facts Wherever They Lead Us’

On this weekend’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday,” while discussing President Donald Trump’s tweets accusing the former Obama administration of wiretapping Trump Tower prior to the election, Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) said that would be part the Senate Intelligence Committee investigation regarding Russia’s meddling into the 2016 presidential race.

Cotton said, “We’ve already begun an inquiry on the intelligence committee into Russia’s efforts to undermine confidence in our political system last year and our interests all around the world. That inquiry is going to be thorough and we’re going to follow the facts wherever they lead us. And I’m sure that this matter will be a part of that inquiry.”
