During an interview with Representative Jackie Speier (D-CA) on Tuesday’s broadcast of CNN’s “New Day,” anchor Poppy Harlow said “Obamacare has meant spiking premiums across the country,” and major insurers leaving the market.

Harlow said, “Here’s the thing, the health care plan, as it stands now, Obamacare has meant spiking premiums across the country, as high as 116% in Arizona. It’s also meant that Humana has dropped off. Aetna not only dropped off, but called it a ‘death spiral.'”

After Speier talked about cost containment, Harlow stated that “it’s harder and harder to that, when you have more and more of the big providers dropping out because the math isn’t working for them.”
