Pennsylvania Man Arrested After Mocking, Sucker Punching Man with Cerebral Palsy

Per a CBS Philadelphia report, a Pennsylvania man is facing charges after he mocked a man with cerebral palsy and then sucker punched him outside of a convenience store.

Barry Baker, 29, was charged with simple assault after the May 10 incident outside a 7-Eleven in West Chester, PA.

In the video, Baker can be seen mocking a 22-year-old man as he got out of his car and entered the store. Baker continued imitating the man when he left the store. The two appear to speak briefly before Baker punches the man without warning.

Baker then fled the scene as the victim stood there stunned.

Police later arrested the attacker and he is scheduled to appear in court May 30.

“[Baker] is a bully. Every decent citizen should be outraged by the defendant’s conduct. The victim is to be commended for keeping his cool and notifying the police,” Chester County District Attorney Tom Hogan said via CBS Philadelphia.
