Dem Rep Ellison Accuses Trump of Using Twitter for ‘Abuse,’ Calls for President to Be Banned

In an interview with TMZ, Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN) weighed in President Donald Trump’s tweets about MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski.

Ellison said Twitter should “snatch his account” because he alleged that Trump abuses people on social media.”

Ellison said, “My thought is we have long, long known Donald Trump abuses people on social media, much like any common social media bully. The problem is he has been doing it and never has never had to pay a price for it. I personally think that Twitter the company should treat him just like any other social media harasser and snatch his account. I mean it’s a private company. He doesn’t have a right to have a Twitter account. And if he is misusing it and abusing people serially I think he shouldn’t have an account. I mean put it like this-this is a private sector business, he is abusing that service. He is intimidating people. He is abusing women. He shouldn’t have it.”
