FS1’s Sharpe: NFL Owners Want Kaepernick to ‘Bow Down and Kiss the Rings’ — Say What a ‘Horrible Mistake’ He Made

Monday, Fox Sports 1 “Undisputed” co-host Shannon Sharpe reacted to San Francisco 49ers general manager saying free agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick needs to come out and tell everyone he is committed to playing football.

According to Sharpe, owners just want Kaepernick to “bow down and kiss the rings” and admit he made a “horrible mistake” by protesting during the national anthem.

“Colin Kaepernick just finished the season in January. But somehow now we need him to speak up and say, ‘Guys, I want to play.’ No, what you want him to do is bow down. You want him to bow down and kiss the rings and say, ‘What a horrible mistake and what a horrible person I am to use this great NFL platform for a cause that I deem to be very worthy,'” Sharpe argued.
