GOP Rep Hurd: Trump’s Wall ‘Least Effective Way to Do Border Security’

Monday at a town hall with constituents, Rep. Will Hurd (R-TX) said President Donald Trump’s plan to build a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border is “the most expensive and least effective way to do border security.”

Hurd said, “In 2017, we should have been able to secure our border by now. The reason we haven’t is — we take a one size fits all solution to border security. Building a wall from sea to shining sea is the most expensive and least effective way to do border security.”
