O’Reilly: ‘Hate Trump Stuff’ Taking Toll on MSNBC, CNN — ‘Getting Clobbered’ in Ratings With Las Vegas Breaking News Coverage

Thursday on Laura Ingraham’s nationally syndicated radio show, former Fox News anchor Bill O’Reilly, author of the book “Killing England: The Brutal Struggle for American Independence,” argued the anti-Trump slants of MSNBC and CNN were beginning to impact the ratings for those two cable news channels.

O’Reilly explained that at a time when many Americans would be tuned into the news to catch up on Sunday mass shooting in Las Vegas, CNN and MSNBC were lagging, to which he attributed to their bias.

“Here’s some good news – looking at the cable news ratings for the Vegas story this week, which is a big story, alright? Everybody in America is engaged on this story. It’s not a political story. It’s a horror story and decent Americans are very, very interested in this and why it happened and trying to prevent it from happening again. OK, the two liberal networks – CNN and MSNBC – are getting clobbered in the ratings, particularly MSNBC. No one is watching them. So ask yourself why. Why in a breaking news situation would viewers reject those two networks the way they are? And it’s because they don’t trust them to tell the truth, OK? That’s the reason.”

“So all of this hate Trump stuff is beginning now to work against the far left,” he added. “And the dishonest hoards – their only goal is to make it impossible for him to carry out his administration.”
