Justice Thomas: ‘We’re Getting Quite Comfortable’ With ‘Limiting Ideas’ – ‘I Don’t Think It’s Good’

During an interview broadcast on Wednesday’s edition of the Fox News Channel’s “Ingraham Angle,” Justice Clarence Thomas argued that American society is becoming very comfortable with limiting ideas, and this is to the detriment of the next generation.

Thomas said he wasn’t bothered by the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture’s lack of an exhibit on him for its first year.

He then talked about his exposure to a wide range of ideas in a segregated library. Thomas added, “I think we’re getting quite comfortable in our society limiting ideas and exposure to ideas. And maybe that’s a symptom of it. I don’t know. But, I don’t think it’s good for the next generation and the people who will be learning.”
