Conway on Moore WaPo Story: ‘Need to Listen to Both Sides,’ But ‘That Hypothetical Would Be Disqualifying’

While speaking with Philadelphia NBC affiliate WCAU on Thursday, White House Counselor Kellyanne Conway reacted to the Washington Post report on Alabama Republican Senate nominee Judge Roy Moore by urging people to “listen to both sides,” but also that the “hypothetical would be disqualifying for anyone in public office.”

Conway said, “I know Mr. Moore has completely denied it. And I would say, as we’ve all said so many times, unfortunately, in the last five or six weeks, and so many people coming forward with allegations, that we need to listen to both sides, but at the same time, that hypothetical would be disqualifying for anyone in public office.”
