Stephen A Smith Blasts ‘Scared’ Black NBA Players for Not Speaking Out Against Black Coach Firings

ESPN “First Take” host Stephen A. Smith delivered a “final take” Tuesday where he ripped “scared” black NBA players for keeping quiet on the diminishing number of black coaches in the league, following Monday’s firing of Milwaukee Bucks coach Jason Kidd.

“Where is all the noise of support from black players?” Smith asked after noting how NBA players were quick to speak about protests, President Donald Trump or other social issues.

“What I’m asking is simple,” he stated. “How in the hell can a league where more than 70 percent of players are African-American have barely anything to say at all about the diminished number of black coaches? Where the hell is your voice now?”
