Speaking Thursday at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) said during an interview about Democrats pushing for more gun control that “nobody has ever been afraid of Chris Cuomo.”
The Federalist’s Ben Domenech joked to Cruz that he wondered if CNN host Chris Cuomo had tweeted during their five-minute conversation that Cruz was “afraid” to go on his show and discuss guns.
“You know, I am quite certain in the history of the universe — nobody has ever been afraid of Chris Cuomo,” said Cruz to applause.
