Israeli Ambassador: We Shared Iran Nuke Intel with US, They’ll Say It’s ‘Authentic’

On Monday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Special Report,” Israeli Ambassador to the US Ron Dermer stated that Israel shared the information used by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in his speech on Iran’s nuclear program with US intelligence agencies “a number of weeks ago” and any US intel official “will say that this information is authentic.”

Dermer said the information is “very new. We didn’t have it before. Other intelligence agencies didn’t have it before.”

He added, “What Netanyahu did today, he did not present simply a smoking gun. He presented a smoking bomb. And I think all the world should take notice of it. And we are now sharing that information. We shared it with US intelligence a number of weeks ago. We are now sharing that information with the rest of [the] intelligence agencies around the world in terms of our allies.”

Dermer further stated that “any US intelligence official” will “say that this information is authentic. I don’t think anyone will deny that.”
