Garamendi: Trump ‘Doesn’t Want to Believe the CIA’ on Khashoggi

On Monday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Outnumbered Overtime,” Representative John Garamendi (D-CA) stated that President Trump “doesn’t want to believe” the CIA’s conclusion on the murder of Washington Post writer Jamal Khashoggi.

Garamendi said, “Well, the CIA, I think, has done a very thorough job looking at this situation. The CIA director met personally, in Turkey, with the leadership of that country, receiving information from them. CIA operatives throughout the Middle East and other places collected information. I think it’s rather clear, the CIA came to a conclusion. Now, the president doesn’t want to believe the CIA. In fact, he has a long, long history of not believing the intelligence agencies, this one, and others also.”
