Turkey makes ‘new proposal’ on migrant crisis at EU summit

Brussels (AFP) – Turkey has made a new proposal at a summit with EU leaders Monday aimed at pushing forward a deal signed in November to tackle the migrant crisis, Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu’s spokesman said.

“There is a new proposal. We are trying to open the way to solve this process, that’s why this is a new proposal,” the spokesman told reporters at the summit in Brussels.
