Who loves Ice cream? Well, 116 years ago today, inventor and business man, Alfred L. Cralle was granted U.S. patent #576395 guaranteeing the rights to his invention of the ice cream scoop. Cralle was bothered by how difficult ice cream was to dispense and came up with an idea to solve the problem. Today, the ice cream scoop is still in use around the world.
If that’s not American ingenuity, I don’t know what is.
