Why Do Republicans Insist on Airing Their Dirty Laundry In Public?

In response to Republican Girl Fight:

This whole pi$$ing match makes both sides look bad. The letter was ridiculous, but so is the Daily Caller’s catty “mean girl”  type digs at Brent Bozell:

A group of conservative leaders has signed an irate letter demandingthat a Republican political consultant be fired for calling therelatively undistinguished scion of a prominent political family a “hater.”

And that was posted underneath a highly unflattering picture of Bozell. Really, was that necessary?
