LAKE WORTH, Fla. – Responding to an anonymous call, police arrested a 34-year-woman for allegedly “beating her mother with a white pole,” and removing her eyes with a knife.  According to a release from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s office, the suspect, Ferna Quesner, was “covered in blood” when police arrived at a Lake Worth home on July 4.  They also found her mother, seriously wounded. 

According to the probable cause affidavit, “the victim’s eyes were discovered on the kitchen floor near a knife and a large pool of blood.”  The victim was flown to Delray Medical Center and listed in critical condition.

The release also states that Quesner suffers from some unknown mental disability and that she admitted to the attack on her mother.
