PHOENIX (CBS5) – According to police, a motorist accused of running over a pregnant woman, admitted to consuming 30 beers before getting behind the wheel of his car and speeding through a parking lot. 

Police say the suspect, Guadalupe Castaneda, also struck a parked car, injuring the occupant. 

Officers enlisted the help of a police helicopter to apprehend the fleeing suspect. He was booked on several charges including DUI and assault. 

The pregnant woman and her baby are in stable condition and the other victims is expected to be okay.

No information was given as to why a grown man has the name Guadalupe.
