According to Hill sources, House Republicans will meet with Vice President Joe Biden on Tuesday morning. The meeting is said to begin at 9:30am and Biden is expected to face a tough crowd.
Republican and Democratic lawmakers and aides have come to grips with the fact that the House will be hard-pressed to pass a resolution to give President Barack Obama authority to attack Syria.
While some GOP members have indicated they support a strike on Syria, it seems obvious Biden is being sent over to hustle for Obama’s military strike. Obama will address the nation this evening in a prime time address.
