NYC Train wreck Driver Says He Was Under "Highway Hypnosis"

The driver of the train that derailed in New York City is said be havetrain took the sharp turn going 82 miles per hour, nearly three times the30-mph speed limit.

The train driver, who is also reported to be “devastated’ by theloss of life an injuries, has retained a defense attorney. The driver toldinvestigators that when he snapped out of the daze, he applied the brakes, butit was too late.

No word yet if criminal charges will be filed against the driver.
