Officials in Yemen say that a US drone strike hit a group traveling to a wedding, killing 13 people.  The attack took place in Radda, the capital of Badya province.  Radya is thought to be an al-Qaeda strong-hold. 

source reported the group was mistaken for al-Qaeda militants. “An air strike missed its target and hit a wedding car convoy, ten people were killed immediately and another five who were injured died after being admitted to the hospital,” one security official said.

Officials did not identify the plane responsible for the strike, but local media outlet say it was a drone.
