If the Democrats actually do as they say, and run on Obamacare, they will get their arses handed to them. But remember who the Democrats are up against-the usually consistently and spineless Republican Party.
Whenever the momentum is on the side of the GOP, the establishment always finds a way to screw it all up, or someone tin foil hat-wearing Republican starts spouting off something crazy, which turns the focus away from Obamacare.
