We already know that Iowa Democrat Bruce Braley doesn’t think much of farmers, given that he called Sen. Chuck Grassley (R., Iowa) a “farmer from Iowa who never went to law school” at a January fundraiser.

Now, given new video of Braley deriding Sally C. Pipes of the Pacific Research Institute, one has to wonder if it’s pure elitism on Braley’s part, or if perhaps he has a problem with professional women, as well.

Sally C. Pipes is president and chief executive officer of the Pacific Research Institute, a San Francisco-based think tank founded in 1979. In November 2010, she was named the Taube Fellow in Health Care Studies. Prior to becoming president of PRI in 1991, she was assistant director of the Fraser Institute, based in Vancouver, Canada.

See the full video below. Per a report, remember this the next time the Democrats want to talk about the so called war on women.

Braley’s record of elitism goes back much farther. At a House Energy and Commerce subcommittee hearing in 2009, he questioned the credentials of Sally Pipes, president and CEO of the Pacific Research Institute.
