Matthews: 'If You're Really Anti-Gay You Become A Catholic'

Media Research Center questioned MSNBC’s Chris Matthews last night at a panel asking him to clarify previous comments about the Catholic Church. Matthews said, “If you’re really anti-gay, you become a Catholic now.” Matthews was visibly irritated at the reporter and after a short exchange concluded, “I’m saying that some people who are bigoted against gay people have changed religions.”
