FOX NEWS: Arizona may start arming school principals to protect students from attacks like the one on Newtown, Connecticut. Arizona Attorney General Tom Horne is offering a proposal that would allow school principals or another staffer to be trained to use a firearm. His plan would require a change in state law, which currently allows only police officers to carry firearms on school grounds. “We would provide the training in marksmanship, in judgment […] And then they’d be able to have a gun at school, locked up in a very secure place,” Horne said. The proposal is getting mixed reaction from Arizona parents. Katie Duran categorically says, “I don’t want any more firearms in the schools.”
