Jake Tapper’s “The Lead” on CNN highlighted Breitbart News’ story about Dr. Shakil Afridi, the hero doctor who helped the U.S. locate Osama bin Laden by setting up a fake vaccination program–and is now in a Pakistani prison.
From Breitbart News: If you could say something to President Obama, what would you say? Relative of Dr. Afridi: President Obama should help us and release my brother because he has done [sic] a large, big, most wanted terrorist in the world. Dr. Shakil helped the American government and they achieved their target. And the American government and Mr. Obama should pressurize the Pakistani government… I appeal from [sic] Obama and the American government to release my brother and help us. Without American involvement and without American pressure, the Pakistani government can’t release my brother.
