On CNN on Friday, Brian Stelter, anchor of “Reliable Sources” along with radio talker Steve Malzberg and Media Matters’ Eric Boehlert, looked back at how the media handled the Boston Marathon bombing coverage earlier this year. Stelter suggested that perhaps the media had overplayed the story to cause a panic.
