On Wednesday’s “Morning Joe” on MSNBC, show host Joe Scarborough laid out what he thought Republicans should have to do in order to capitalize off the unpopularity of ObamaCare, which he argued will have to go beyond just repeal of the law.

Partial transcript as follows:

“Whether you talk to Haley Barbour or Charles Krauthammer or Bill Kristol – if you talk to what Bill Kristol said in 1994, there were a lot of health care alternatives, Republican alternatives. Bill Kristol doesn’t say that 20 years later. The thought leaders of the Republican Party, the people who are starting to push back against some of the nihilism are saying repeal is not enough. You have to repeal and you have to replace.”
