On Monday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” co-hosts Joe Scarborough, Mika Brzezinski and Willie Geist downplayed Sen. Mark Begich’s (D-AK) effort to run against President Barack Obama.
“Yeah Ron Fournier, it’s certainly an interesting approach,” Scarborough said. “Usually [it’s] a losing approach for candidates that try to distance themselves from because of course you know his opponent will find the 90-whatever percent times he voted with Barack Obama. So it would just suggest he may be in trouble in Alaska I would think.”
