According to a report that aired on Minneapolis-St. Paul ABC affiliate KTSP 5, the Minneapolis’ Neighborhood Involvement Program medical clinic (NIP), which has treated patients since 1972, is closing because of what it called “an extraordinary financial situation due to the Affordable Care Act.”
The primary cause of the clinic’s closure tied to ObamaCare is said to be the law’s requirement that medical records be kept electronically, which would be too expensive for the clinic.
