WNCT, the CBS affiliate in Greenville, N.C., reports that healthcare provider Vidant will undergo “big cuts” that they blame on the Affordable Care Act. According to the WNCT, Vidant says the “operational margin [on Medicare and Medicaid reimbursements] is less than half of what they [Vidant] planned for in 2014.”

WNCT also states that thanks to the cuts, projects such as “a new cancer center,” and “core infrastructure” upgrades are “at risk.”
