Tuesday on Newsmax TV’s “America’s Forum,” Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) said yesterday during President Barack Obama’s Labor Day visit to Milwaukee the president refused the senator’s request to speak with him for only a few minutes.

Johnson said he was invited to greet Obama on the tarmac, which due to security, would have taken about “five hours.” But when the Wisconsin Republican asked if he could have five minutes “to briefly met with him” to discuss a plan to go forward with a bipartisan response to ISIS, he was denied.

“They wouldn’t give me the time of day,” Johnson said.
