MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell argued that Harry Reid might be out as Senate Majority Leader in the wake of Tuesday’s election results during the network’s special coverage of the elections on Tuesday.

When asked whether he thought Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) might push for a change in the Senate’s leadership, he said “I think Chuck Schumer is in a position to wait out [Sen] Harry Reid (D-NV). Harry Reid could also decide on his own, Chris, after a night like this that maybe it is time for a change and it is also possible that his caucus could decide it is time for a change, but I don’t think Chuck Schumer would lead the charge for a change in leadership that way.”
