Early Monday morning, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) dismissed any possibility that he might wage a bid for Senate Majority Leader against the anticipated favorite in any contest, current Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY).
When asked on CBS’s election wrap-up coverage about that possibility, Cruz answered “under no circumstances.”
