Monday on CNN, Tory Russell, the co-founder of Hands Up United, said it’s the police in Ferguson, MO who need to remain calm.

Russell said, “I’m urging calm for the police officers to not pepper spray me, to tear gas me, mace me and shoot rubber bullets. Some nights they shot people with real bullets. People need to urge the police to be calm. stop hurting kids, stop traumaticize stop traumatizing our communities.”

“It’s every where and no one is asking the police or KKK or the FBI or Department of Justice are you going to keep the calm? You wanted the job, the job is your, you took an oath. Why don’t you keep calm and serve the communities. I’m paying your bills, you need go ahead and do what i tell you to,” he added.
