“CNN Tonight” anchor Don Lemon began his show on Monday night by displaying a Confederate flag and a placard with the n-word uncensored over a chyron asking “does this offend you?”
Lemon said, “this is what America is talking about right now,” before holding up a Confederate flag and asking “does this offend you?” And wondering if the flag was a symbol of “Southern pride” or “hate.”
He continued, “And then, what about this?” Before holding up a card with the n-word, uncensored, and asking “does this offend you?”
