Comedian Yassir Lester Equates Washington Redskins Name to 'Blackfaces': 'It's Just as Bad'

On Thursday’s “@Midnight with Chris Hardwick” on Comedy Central, comedian Yassir Lester likened the Washington Redskins name to blackface while playing a game of renaming NFL teams.

Lester first wanted to rename the Baltimore Ravens to the Baltimore Police Force, and then went with Washington Blackfaces instead of the Washington Redskins. defending himself, saying, “What? It’s just as bad!”
