Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation” outgoing Speaker Rep John Boehner (R-OH) said there will not be a government shutdown over the fight about federal funding for Planned Parenthood in light of the series of  videos showing Planned Parenthood doctors negotiating the prices of fetal tissue.

Boehner said  “No, the Senate is expected to pass a continuing resolution next week. The House will take up the Senate bill.”

He added, “We’ll also take up a select committee to investigate these horrific videos that we’ve seen from abortion clinics in several states that really raise questions about the use of federal funds and raise questions about aborted fetuses that are born alive.”
