Jacksonville, FL 13-year old Nathaniel Nelson was diagnosed last week with a form of leukemia usually only suffered by people age 65 and older, and was met in the hospital by former University of Florida great Tim Tebow. Tebow heard about Nathaniel’s situation, and decided to pay a visit to Wolfson Children’s Hospital, where he was beginning to receive chemo treatments. Once the avid Gators fan looked up and saw Tebow enter the room, the kid was brought to tears to meet his hero. Nathaniel told a a local TV station that during this time he thinks most about two things; helping other kids with cancer get through the trauma, and worrying about his mom. “I don’t like to see her in pain,” he told First Coast News.
