GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump took aim at fellow candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) Saturday during a rally in Waterbury, CT.

Trump questioned Cruz’s presidential eligibility, citing his being “straight out of the hills of Canada.” saying Democrats would “sue him” “first thing” if elected.

“[Cruz] was a Canadian citizen until 14, 15 months ago,” Trump explained. “He’s not going to win, but if he did, the first thing the Democrats are going to do is sue him on the basis that he’s not a naturalized citizen, he wasn’t born in the country.”
