Friday on CNN, Gov. Rick Scott (R-FL) discussed his upcoming meeting with presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump slated for Monday at Trump Tower in New York City.

Host Wolf Blitzer asked Scott about the possibility of being Trump’s running mate, to which Scott dismissed as a possibility.

“I’m going to pass on that,” Scott said. “I’ll have two years left when Donald gets elected president. I want to finally have a federal partner that’s going to focus on jobs.”
