On Sunday, long-time Clinton adviser James Carville said on New York AM 970’s “The Cats Roundtable” that presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton will be keeping who her running mate will be “close to the vest.”

“[Hillary Clinton] is going to be very very methodical about this,” Carville told host John Catsimatidis. “She’s going to be very thoughtful, very deliberative and play this thing very close to the vest.”

Carville later added that Clinton is “on a little bit of a roll right now.”

“I think she’s on a little bit of a roll right now, quite frankly… The Republican presumptive nominee seems to make one mistake after another. The party is fighting and resisting at every point,” he said. “As of now, it feels pretty good on my side of the ball.”
