Wednesday on MSNBC, host Craig Melvin questioned Sen. Dan Coats (R-IN) about the mentioning of presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton at the night before’s proceedings at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland.

According to Melvin, her name was mentioned more than Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, to which Coats suggested the same thing is likely to happen with regards to Trump’s name at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia next week.

Melvin vowed his network would “call them on it” if that is the case.

Partial transcript as follows:

MELVIN: Hillary Clinton’s name was mentioned more than a dozen times more than Donald Trump’s last night.

COATS: And what do you think the Democrats are going to copy?

MELVIN: Chris Christie chanted lock her up more than a dozen times.

COATS: So are you saying that in the Democratic convention, they’re not going to mention Donald Trump’s name?

MELVIN: I don’t know. I’m not there, but if they do, rest assured we’ll call them on it as well.

COATS: Yeah.
