A Florida crowd laughed at former Gov. Charlie Crist (D-FL), who is vying for the Florida’s 13th U.S. congressional seat, for describing his party’s presidential nominee Hillary Clinton as “honest” at debate against Rep. David Jolly (R-FL).

When asked if he was voting for Clinton, he said he was and listed what deemed to be her attributes.

“I am proud of Hillary Clinton. I think she’s been a very good secretary of state, a very good senator from the state of New York. The thing I like most about her is I believe she is steady, I believe that she is strong, I believe that she is honest, and I look forward to voting for her.”

According to polling, Crist and Jolly are in a dead heat for the seat to be settled on the November ballot.
