On Wednesday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “MTP Daily,” former New York Times columnist and current Distinguished Senior Fellow at Demos Bob Herbert argued former President Bill Clinton isn’t a political asset to his wife, and hasn’t been one “for a long time now.”

Herbert said, during a discussion of the former president’s comments on Obamacare, and whether Bill has been an asset to Hillary, “He hasn’t been an asset for a long time now.”

Herbert later added that Bill Clinton’s “time has come and gone.”
