Dem Rep Yarmuth: Recount Effort 'Just a Distraction'

Saturday, Rep. John Yarmuth (D-KY) said on MSNBC that the recount effort by Jill Stein and the Hillary Clinton campaign “is just a distraction.”

“I think this is just catharsis for both Jill Stein and the Clinton campaign, it’s not gonna serve any useful purpose. I understand it’s always good to make sure that machines work properly and that voters’ votes are counted accurately, but ultimately this is just a distraction,” Yarmuth said.
